I am Alfiya Khadeer, Certified and Licensed doula providing support in Sharjah, Dubai and Ajman, United Arab Emirates with holistic and evidence based maternity care.
After the birth of my second child, I developed a deep passion for supporting families and understanding the incredible journey of childbirth. My journey as a doula began after I achieved my VBAC(vaginal birth after c section). This experience ignited my desire to help others, to be the support I was looking for when I was pregnant and to help mothers navigate the profound transition into this beautiful and blessed journey of motherhood.
I view birth as a whole-body experience that integrates your emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. My approach supports you in tuning into your body’s wisdom, empowering you to make informed decisions that align with your values and needs.

My Philosophy
As a holistic birth worker, I support the belief that birth is a natural and transformative process. If a woman’s body is capable of growing and carrying a baby within herself for 9 months, then without a doubt she has the ability to birth this baby out into this world all by herself. My role is to guide, encourage, and provide resources to help a mother feel confident and prepared for this beautiful journey. I offer compassionate support, practical education, and a deep respect for your unique birth experience.
Rooted in Islamic values, my practice is grounded in the belief that childbirth is a sacred act, a moment where faith, trust, and the mercy of Allah (SWT) meet. I embrace the Islamic principles of gentleness, patience, and reliance on God, while respecting your choices and preferences throughout the process.
